Faculty Overview<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>_<\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text el_id=”about-univ”]The Education Faculty in Mukalla is one of the Education Faculties at Hadhramout University. It was established in October 1974 under the name of Science Faculty, Arts and Education, University of Aden. ,\u00a0 it passed through its developments in several stages, as in its first stage (1980\/1974) it awarded a diploma (two years after high school) and in the year (1982-1981) the faculty started with a bachelor\u2019s program (in arts, education and sciences) according to the integrative system and according to the specialization.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of 1999, the Faculty of Sciences, Arts and Education became one of the faculties of Hadhramout University. At this stage, new departments were added to it (physical education, Islamic education and computer science), as well as the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, which covers vocational qualification courses.<\/p>\n

In addition, at the beginning of the year (2006\/2005), the faculty was divided into three faculties, namely the Education Faculty, Arts Faculty and Science Faculty. Moreover, in (2007\/2008), the faculty started new educational programs (the field teacher program) according to the needs of the labor market and the goals of the National Strategy for elementary Education (2003\/2015). In the academic year (2001\/2000), a master\u2019s program in curricula and teaching methods and educational administration was opened.<\/p>\n

In the academic year (2013\/2014), a Bachelor’s program was added to it in Counseling and Educational Guidance in the Department of Psychological Sciences. Thus, the faculty has the ability to develop scientific performance for nearly 40 years since its establishment. Several batches of bachelor’s degree and more than 10 batches of master’s program have graduated.<\/p>\n

The staff members also contributed to the supervision and examination of a number of master’s and doctoral students inside and outside the country, and they have gained extensive scientific experience in this field. In addition to the (PhD) program has been added to become one of its core programs.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″]
