Hadhramout University signed on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, a sponsored joint research project with Petronas University of Technology (UTP) in Malaysia. Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; President of Hadhramout University expressed his pleasure at this achievement, stressing the university’s keenness to promote the idea of research and scientific publication through many events and activities one of which is this project.<\/p>\n

He confirmed the strong relationship with this Malaysian University as 4 students from the faculty of Engineering and Petroleum at Hadhramout University went to study at UTP for a semester. They did their best and achieved an advanced level in their studies, competing with their peers at UTP.<\/p>\n

On his part, Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Bin Abdul Mutalib; UTP Vice President welcomed HU President and his accompanying delegation and expressed his appreciation for these ongoing projects and events, which will have a great impact on the two universities and their staff.<\/p>\n

This project was led by Dr. Makarem Bamatraf from HU and Dr. Fawnizu from UTP. The project entitled ” SDN Traffic Engineering Using Deep Re-infoccment Learnin” was selected as one of the proposed projects by Hadhramout University.<\/p>\n

In the same context, HU President signed the renewal of the cooperation Agreement between the two universities for the next five years. They discussed the mechanism of research, scientific publication, and the organization of symposiums and international conferences as well as various academic and student aspects.<\/p>\n

The signing ceremony was attended by several vice presidents and assistants to the UTP President as well as the university’s academic staff. HU President was accompanied by Prof. Salem bin Salman; Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Salem Bamasoud; General Director of Scientific Research, Mr. Hussein Baslaib; General Director of the President’s office and Dr. Samir Al-Bouri; University Representative.<\/p>\n
