<\/span><\/p>\nStudents from the participating universities competed in the joint championship in the group stage and finals in the Table\u00a0<\/span>Tennis,<\/span>\u00a0male group. The first place was won by student Mohammed Adel Bahmaid from Seiyun University after defeating student Ali Mohammed Afif from Hadhramout University\u00a0<\/span>who<\/span>\u00a0came in second place<\/span>, while<\/span>\u00a0the third place went to student Omar Mohammed Al-Hadi from Al-Ahqaf University.\u00a0<\/span>In the female group, the first place was won by student Aidah Khaled Al-Rubaki from Al-Arab University, the second place was won by student Nagham Hisham Al-Sharjabi from Seiyun University, and the third place was won by student Arzaq Ahmed Toubat from Hadhramout University.<\/span><\/p>\n Chess competitions\u00a0<\/span>were also held<\/span>\u00a0in the female group, with student Nawara Saleh Al-Attas from Hadhramout University winning first place, student Rasha Khaled Al-Rubaki from Hadhramout University winning second place, and student Nismah Abdulqader bin Shahab from Seiyun University winning third place.\u00a0<\/span>In the male group of Chess, the first place was won by student Mohammed Awad bin Jameel from Hadhramout University, the second place was won by student Abdullah Salmeen Ba Qatian from Shabwah University, the third place was won by student Ali Mohammed Bashraheel from Hadhramout University<\/span>, and the<\/span>\u00a0fourth place was won by student Yousef Ahmed Al-Tabil from Al-Ahqaf University.<\/span><\/p>\n The closing ceremony, <\/span>attended<\/span>\u00a0by Prof. Salem Faraj Bamasoud, Acting Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Salem Mohammed bin Salman, Assistant Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, Mr. Abdullah Al-Alawi Eidid, Secretary-General of the University, Captain Hassan Saleh Masjdi,\u00a0<\/span>General Director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports<\/span>\u00a0Office in Hadhramout Coast, Mr. Zaki Baqwiqo, General Director of Student Activities, Mr. Naif Bawzir, Chairman of the Sports Committee in the University Student Week, Dr. Khaled Al-Rubaki, Dean of the Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology Faculty, Mr. Awad Bin Jameel, Chairman of the General Federation of Chess, Ms. Faiza Al-Yazidi, Chairperson of the Women’s Sports Federation, and Captain Noufel Al-Habshi, Chairman of the General Federation of Table Tennis in Hadhramout Coast, and Ms. Maryam Suleiman Bamaqnea, Head of Student Activities at the university. They honored the participating universities in the championship with certificates and the winning students in the Yemeni Universities Championship in Table Tennis and Chess with championship cups and financial prizes.
