<\/p>\nIn a gesture of appreciation for their outstanding contributions, Hadhramout University, at its main campus in Mukalla, honored today the institutions and individuals who actively contributed to the success of \u201cHadhramout Week in the Russian Federation,\u201d held in Moscow and Grozny\u2014the capitals of the Russian Federation and the Chechen Republic, respectively\u2014from May 18 to 20, 2024.
\nThis recognition reflects the university\u2019s gratitude for their crucial role in promoting the cultural, scientific, and civilizational image of Hadhramout on the international stage.<\/p>\n

The honoring ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, University President, in the presence of Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saleh Babair (Academic Affairs), Prof. Dr. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani (Student Affairs), and Secretary-General Mr. Abdullah Alawi Aideed<\/span>. Honorees included the Daw\u2019an Mud Architecture Foundation, Nahd Development Foundation, and media professional Mr. Salah Ahmed Al-Amari.<\/p>\n Prof. Dr. Khanbash expressed deep gratitude for the generous support and patronage of the Governor of Hadhramout, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, noting that his ongoing support\u2014both for the university in general and specifically for the \u201cHadhramout Week\u201d events\u2014was instrumental in achieving notable success, including the signing of important educational agreements that will benefit both Hadhramout and the broader nation.<\/p>\n The University President praised the vital contributions of the local authorities, the university\u2019s leadership, academic and technical staff, and civil society partners for ensuring the visibility and success of the week\u2019s events. Prof. Dr. Khanbash noted that the week included 28 diverse activities, including high-level meetings and discussions between the Hadhramout University delegation and Russian academic and research institutions. These engagements explored opportunities for collaboration in higher education, student and faculty exchange, and the development of joint research initiatives. The week also contributed to fostering cultural and economic ties, building bridges of communication, and laying the groundwork for enhanced economic relations between Hadhramout and Russia. Several agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed in the fields of education and research, expected to strengthen the university\u2019s academic development and open new opportunities for its students.
