On Thursday, September 18, 2025, Hadhramout University participated in the virtual meeting of the YHELD Project partners, which aims to develop the higher education system in Yemen and strengthen academic partnerships with leading regional and international universities.<\/p>\n
Representing the university was Dr. Lutfi Saeed Bin Dahman, Director of the Center for International Relations and University Ranking, and the university\u2019s representative to the European Commission. Dr. Bin Dahman highlighted the university\u2019s active role in the success of the project, reaffirming its commitment to keeping pace with global developments in higher education and scientific research, and to establishing its position as a pioneering institution both nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n
The meeting focused on discussing a range of detailed points related to the plans and mechanisms for implementing the remaining components of the YHELD Project\u2019s work program. This included evaluating the progress achieved during the previous period and outlining the next phase, which aims to enhance the quality of academic programs, expand scientific exchange opportunities, and create a more flexible educational environment that responds to societal needs and labor market demands.<\/p>\n

The YHELD Project represents a broad collaborative framework that brings together several Yemeni universities: Hadhramout, Aden, Taiz, Seiyun, Shabwa, Lahj, Abyan, and Al-Adel University.
