Dr. Lutfi Saeed Bin Dahman<\/strong>, Director of the Center for International Cooperation and University Ranking at Hadhramout University, and Dr. Suhair Ali Al-Hadhrami<\/strong>, Director of the International Relations Unit, contributed to discussions on mechanisms for improving institutional performance and strengthening international partnerships for Arab universities during the specialized training program on enhancing the international dimension of Yemeni higher education institutions under the YHELD Project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The program, which concluded the day before yesterday, aimed to support Yemeni universities in building the capacities of International Relations Offices (IRO\/RELINT)<\/strong> and advancing their role in academic internationalization, thereby reinforcing the presence of Yemeni higher education on the global stage.<\/p>\n

Hosted in Cairo, Egypt, the four-day training witnessed broad participation from universities, including Aden, Taiz, Seiyun, Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj, and Al-Adel University<\/strong>, reflecting growing interest in strengthening international relations within higher education institutions.<\/p>\n

The YHELD Project<\/strong> is one of the pioneering initiatives in Yemen\u2019s higher education sector, representing a significant step toward enhancing internationalization through partnerships and knowledge exchange with leading European academic institutions experienced in capacity building and global engagement.<\/p>\n

The project was implemented with the participation of several European universities and organizations, including: Link Campus University \u2013 Italy<\/strong> (Lead Coordinator), Union of Mediterranean Universities (UNIMED) \u2013 Italy, School of Advanced Social Studies \u2013 Italy, Council for Accreditation of Entrepreneurial and Community Universities \u2013 Germany,and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg \u2013 Germany.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This initiative underscores the importance of international collaboration and contributes to elevating the standards of higher education in Yemen.<\/p>\n
