Hadhramout University President, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash<\/strong>, accompanied by the Executive Director of the Selah Foundation for Development, Mr. Ali Hassan Bashmakh<\/strong>, inaugurated two key projects funded by the Foundation. These include the installation of a solar energy system for the central hall of the Vice Presidency for Student Affairs, the establishment of a training and research station, and the furnishing of the Center for Renewable Energy Studies and Research at the University.<\/p>\n

These initiatives align with the University\u2019s strategic vision to enhance its academic infrastructure and transition toward renewable energy solutions, thereby contributing to the creation of a modern and sustainable learning environment that serves both students and researchers.<\/p>\n

The training and research station comprises three main technological tracks: solar energy, wind energy, and thermal energy, along with specialized research laboratories, most notably a solar thermal energy laboratory and a photovoltaic laboratory. This integrated system aims to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, while enhancing students\u2019 research and technical competencies in the field of renewable energy.<\/p>\n

In his address, the University President praised the continued support provided by the Selah Foundation for Development across various sectors, emphasizing that these projects represent a significant qualitative addition that contributes to advancing the educational process and scientific research, and strengthens the University\u2019s position as a leading academic institution. He also commended the strategic partnership with the Foundation, which has resulted in the implementation of several vital development initiatives.<\/p>\n
