Over the course of two consecutive days, participants discussed the outcomes of the project and mechanisms for developing international relations offices within Yemeni universities. The conference also highlighted European experiences in academic governance and internationalization, contributing to the enhancement of higher education institutions\u2019 capacities and the expansion of scientific research and academic exchange opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The opening session featured speeches delivered by <strong>Prof. Hadi Al-Sabban<\/strong>, Cultural Attach\u00e9 at the Embassy of Yemen in Cairo; <strong>Andrea Damiani<\/strong>, Project Coordinator from Link Campus University in Italy; and <strong>Silvia Marchionni<\/strong>, Project Manager at the UNIMED Foundation. The speakers emphasized the importance of sustaining international cooperation to support the development of higher education in Yemen.<\/p>\n<p>Among the conference\u2019s most significant outcomes was the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding to establish the <strong>\u201cYemeni International Relations Offices Network\u201d<\/strong> and the <strong>\u201cEuro-Yemeni Academic Cooperation Network.\u201d<\/strong> The agreements were signed by representatives of the eight participating Yemeni universities and their European partners, in a step aimed at expanding academic partnerships and strengthening sustainable institutional collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>Participants affirmed that building human capacities and developing institutional competencies constitute the cornerstone for sustaining international academic cooperation.
