{"id":6306,"date":"2026-05-17T11:57:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-17T08:57:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/en\/?p=6306"},"modified":"2026-05-18T12:01:45","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T09:01:45","slug":"hadhramout-university-to-host-graduation-project-discussions-for-journalism-and-media-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/en\/details\/6306\/","title":{"rendered":"Hadhramout University to Host Graduation Project Discussions for Journalism and Media Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The Literary Hall, named after renowned writer <strong>Ali Ahmed Ba Kathir<\/strong> at the Presidency Headquarters of Hadhramout University, will host the graduation project discussions of students from the Department of Journalism and Media for the academic year 2025\u20132026.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions will take place over three days, from Sunday, May 17, to Tuesday, May 19, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m., in the presence of the University Vice President for Academic Affairs and Acting President of the University, <strong>Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The submitted projects showcase a wide range of media productions and creative initiatives, including media platforms, newspapers, films, television programs, radio programs, podcasts, graphic designs, investigative reports, media campaigns, research studies, and websites.<\/p>\n<p>On the first day, eight projects will be discussed, including the <strong>\u201cVisual Identity of Hadhramout University,\u201d<\/strong> \u201cJuthoor,\u201d the film <strong>\u201cThe Blue Illusion,\u201d<\/strong> the podcast <strong>\u201cWhat Does Sudan Mean?\u201d<\/strong>, and a sports supplement dedicated to the participation of <strong>Tadamon Hadhramout Club<\/strong> in the Gulf Cup Football Championship.<\/p>\n<p>The second day will feature discussions of another eight projects, including the film <strong>\u201cShadow of the Road,\u201d<\/strong> the television program <strong>\u201cMoment,\u201d<\/strong> and the investigative report <strong>\u201cPoisoned Fruits.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The discussions will conclude on the third day with seven additional projects, including the media campaign <strong>\u201c70 Years of Giving,\u201d<\/strong> documenting Yemeni-Chinese relations, the film <strong>\u201cA Bus Story,\u201d<\/strong> and the platform <strong>\u201cMulhim.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This diversity of projects reflects the richness of students\u2019 experiences and the variety of media production formats presented by the Department, highlighting a distinguished academic event that aligns with Hadhramout University\u2019s vision of promoting creativity, innovation, and excellence in the field of media and communication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0The Literary Hall, named after renowned writer Ali Ahmed Ba Kathir at the Presidency Headquarters of Hadhramout University, will host &#8230;
