The conference will be held under the theme: \u201cCancer: Current Health Status, Challenges, and Scientific Prospects.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>The conference is expected to bring together a distinguished group of specialists, consultants, researchers, and academics from Yemen and abroad to discuss recent advances in oncology, examine current healthcare challenges, and explore future scientific and research prospects for improving cancer care.<\/div>\n<div>The meeting also reviewed progress on the national academic accreditation of the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program. Discussions focused on the completion of the program\u2019s self-study report, which is scheduled to be submitted to the Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council as part of the faculty\u2019s ongoing efforts to enhance academic quality and strengthen medical education outcomes.<\/div>\n<div>During the meeting, Governor Al-Khanbashi reaffirmed the local authority\u2019s full support for scientific and academic initiatives that contribute to developing the healthcare sector.
