Yoslam Saeed Babalghoum<\/b><\/strong>, Acting Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries for the Fisheries Planning and Investment Sector, and <strong><b>Mr. Jamal AlHoutali<\/b><\/strong>, representative of the <strong><b>United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0for the <strong><b>SFISH Program<\/b><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting explored opportunities for strengthening cooperation in the fields of <strong><b>scientific research<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and the <strong><b>sustainable management of fisheries resources<\/b><\/strong>, while reviewing the faculty\u2019s most prominent projects in these areas.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, <strong><b>Dr. Ahmed Aidhah Bin Ali AlHaj<\/b><\/strong>, Technical Director and Coordinator of the project on the study of the distribution of rock lobster larvae and their habitats along the coasts of Hadhramout and AlMahrah, delivered a detailed presentation on the project, which is being implemented under the cooperation agreement signed this year between the faculty and UNDP. The presentation covered the project\u2019s background, scientific objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes, drawing on examples from leading international experiences.
