{"id":6429,"date":"2026-07-08T11:10:13","date_gmt":"2026-07-08T08:10:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/en\/?p=6429"},"modified":"2026-07-16T11:03:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T08:03:48","slug":"faculty-of-medicine-launches-specialized-workshop-on-self-study-preparation-in-accordance-with-accreditation-standards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/en\/details\/6429\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty of Medicine Launches Specialized Workshop on Self-Study Preparation in Accordance with Accreditation Standards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Hadhramout University<\/strong> organized today, Tuesday, a workshop entitled <em>\u201cPreparing the Self-Study Report in Accordance with Program Accreditation Standards of National, Regional, and International Quality Assurance Bodies,\u201d<\/em> as a qualitative step aimed at enhancing academic and institutional performance quality.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop sought to build the capacities of faculty and university staff and equip them with the standards and mechanisms required for preparing a comprehensive self-study report, as a prerequisite for obtaining <strong>program accreditation<\/strong> at both the national and international levels for the faculty\u2019s academic programs, in line with the highest standards of quality in medical education.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was attended by a distinguished group of academic and administrative leaders, including <strong>Prof. Dr. Salem Faraj Bamasoud<\/strong>, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research; <strong>Prof. Dr. Saleh Awadh Bahoul<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences; vice deans, department heads, faculty members, deans of faculties, leaders of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, and representatives of the administrative staff and students.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was delivered by the international trainer <strong>Prof. Ibrahim Sadeq Al\u2011Jundi<\/strong>, a certified expert in education quality and strategic planning with the <strong>World Health Organization (WHO)<\/strong>.
