{"id":7233,"date":"2026-08-21T00:24:03","date_gmt":"2026-08-20T21:24:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/en\/?p=7233"},"modified":"2026-08-21T00:26:29","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T21:26:29","slug":"dr-al-tamimi-discusses-reopening-the-open-education-center-in-ghayl-bin-yamin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/en\/details\/7233\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. Al-Tamimi Discusses Reopening the Open Education Center in Ghayl Bin Yamin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Hadhramout | University Media Center | Exclusive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prof. <strong>Atef Saleh Al-Tamimi<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty of Open Education at Hadhramout University, met with <strong>Dr. Duwail Ahmed Al-Qurzi<\/strong>, Director General of Ghayl Bin Yamin District, to discuss the reopening of the Faculty&#8217;s center in the district and its designation as an examination center to serve students from Ghayl Bin Yamin and neighboring areas.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion took place during a meeting at the Faculty attended by <strong>Dr. Ahmed Sultan Bin Suraiman<\/strong>, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, along with several academic and administrative officials and representatives of the <strong>Ghayl Bin Yamin Students Association<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting addressed mechanisms to reactivate the center and to provide educational, academic, and examination services closer to students&#8217; places of residence. This initiative aims to reduce travel burdens on students, expand the Faculty&#8217;s services, and strengthen its presence in beneficiary districts and surrounding communities.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Al-Tamimi reaffirmed the Faculty&#8217;s commitment to facilitating access to higher education programs and enhancing its role in serving the community.
