As part of their ongoing scientific and awareness initiatives, members of the Environmental Sciences Association—third‑year students from the Department of Environmental Sciences and Technologies—conducted a field visit to Al‑Ma’arif Private Secondary Schools in Al‑Mukalla.
The visit was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Prof. Dr. Khaled Awadh Al‑Rubaki; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Majed Bin Muslim; and the Head of the Department, Dr. Nada Moul Al‑Dweila, under the supervision of Dr. Shatha Zaki, the faculty advisor of the association.
The visiting team received a warm welcome from the school administration and saw strong engagement from secondary‑level students during the educational sessions, which covered environmental conservation methods and the importance of biodiversity.
This activity is part of the faculty’s ongoing community efforts to promote public awareness of a healthy and sustainable environment. 🌱
