Taking into consideration the need of the labor market, the University Board issued the Decree No.(91) in 2010 to rename the Department into Food and Fish Processing Technology.<br \/>\nThe Department is regarded as one of the most unique scientific departments as it characterizes a qualitative field in the country that is related to food sciences and as it is considered one of the scientific resources that contributes to the development through the heavy burden of tasks in studying all the aspects related to food sciences and manufacturing methods.<br \/>\nFFPT Department grants Bachelor degree. 11 batches graduated in the past years most of whom have joined governmental and non-governmental institutions related to the department .<br \/>\nArabic language is the medium of instruction at the Department. The program depends on the regular method and the system of semesters. The academic year is divided into two semesters: the first semester and the second semester at the rate of 16 weeks per semester, while the full duration to finish the program is four years ( 8 semesters ). The total credit hours of the program is 130 hours.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div id=\"cz_18098\" class=\"cz_18098 services clr style1 left\"><div class=\"service_custom\"><i class=\"fas fa-eye\"><\/i><\/div><div class=\"service_text\"><h3>Vision<\/h3><div class=\"cz_wpe_content\"><div style=\"line-height: 1.5;
