{"id":903,"date":"2025-11-18T11:06:23","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T08:06:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/envfac\/en\/?p=903"},"modified":"2026-06-14T11:10:12","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T08:10:12","slug":"faculty-of-environmental-sciences-and-marine-biology-hosts-a-welcome-ceremony-for-first%e2%80%91year-students-and-honors-outstanding-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/envfac\/en\/details\/903\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology Hosts a Welcome Ceremony for First\u2011Year Students and Honors Outstanding Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Faculty Media<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">The <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology at Hadhramout University<\/span><\/strong> organized, on <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Tuesday, 18 November 2025<\/span><\/strong>, a welcoming ceremony for first\u2011year students of the <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">2025\u20132026 academic year<\/span><\/strong>, in the presence of heads of academic departments, faculty members, and their assistants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">The ceremony commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur\u2019an, followed by student presentations representing both new and graduating students, as well as a welcome speech delivered by the President of the Student Council, <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Mr. Yousef Suwaid<\/span><\/strong>. This was followed by welcoming remarks from the Faculty Deanship, represented by <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Prof. Dr. Khaled Awadh Al\u2011Rubaki<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Vice Dean for Student Affairs Dr. Majed Salem Bin Muslim<\/span><\/strong>, and <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Aidhah Bin Ali Al\u2011Haj<\/span><\/strong>.
