{"id":906,"date":"2025-11-26T11:10:43","date_gmt":"2025-11-26T08:10:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/envfac\/en\/?p=906"},"modified":"2026-06-14T11:14:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T08:14:09","slug":"undp-delegation-visits-the-faculty-of-environmental-sciences-and-marine-biology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/envfac\/en\/details\/906\/","title":{"rendered":"UNDP Delegation Visits the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Faculty Media | 26 November 2025<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">This morning, <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Prof. Dr. Khaled Awadh Al\u2011Rubaki<\/span><\/strong>, Dean of the <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology at Hadhramout University<\/span><\/strong>, received in his office <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Mr. Tom Thorgood<\/span><\/strong>, Chief Technical Advisor at the <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">UNDP Office in Yemen<\/span><\/strong>, along with his accompanying delegation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">During the meeting, both sides discussed aspects of <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">cooperation<\/span><\/strong> in several fields, particularly those related to <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">marine biology<\/span><\/strong> and ways to preserve and develop marine resources.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">The delegation then conducted an exploratory visit to the faculty\u2019s departments and laboratories, in addition to visiting the <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">fish farming facility<\/span><\/strong>, which is currently in the final stages of completion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">The delegation was accompanied by <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Mr. Mohammed Al\u2011Hattari<\/span><\/strong>, Coordinator of the <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">S\u2011Fish Program<\/span><\/strong>, and <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Mr. Jamal Al\u2011Houtali<\/span><\/strong>, the program\u2019s representative in Hadhramout.
