{"id":915,"date":"2026-02-13T11:22:12","date_gmt":"2026-02-13T08:22:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/envfac\/en\/?p=915"},"modified":"2026-06-14T11:24:19","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T08:24:19","slug":"al%e2%80%91ibdaa-schools-in-al%e2%80%91qatn-visit-the-faculty-of-environmental-sciences-and-marine-biology-at-hadhramout-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/envfac\/en\/details\/915\/","title":{"rendered":"Al\u2011Ibda\u2019a Schools in Al\u2011Qatn Visit the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology at Hadhramout University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Faculty Media<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">As part of efforts to strengthen academic engagement and link secondary education outcomes with higher education, the <span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology at Hadhramout University<\/span> received, on the morning of <span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Tuesday, 10 February 2026<\/span>, a student delegation from <span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Al\u2011Ibda\u2019a Secondary Schools in Al\u2011Qatn<\/span>, headed by <span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Mr. Rashdi Al\u2011Makhzoumi<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">The delegation was received by <span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Dr. Ahmed Aidhah Bin Ali Al\u2011Haj<\/span> and <span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Dr. Majed Salem Bin Muslim<\/span>, Vice Deans of the Faculty, who welcomed the students and accompanying staff. They emphasized the faculty\u2019s commitment to opening its doors to school students to introduce its academic specializations and scientific programs, as well as its role in serving the community and promoting environmental awareness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">The visit included an introductory presentation on the faculty\u2019s departments and programs in <span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">environmental sciences and technologies, marine biology and aquaculture, and food science and technology<\/span>, along with an overview of its academic outputs and future opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">In addition, <span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">Mr. Nabil Al\u2011Hudhaifi<\/span>, Director of the Faculty Laboratories, organized a field tour of the laboratories, during which students were introduced to the modern scientific equipment used in teaching and research. This contributed to enhancing their understanding of the practical applications related to the offered disciplines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif;\">At the conclusion of the visit, the head of the delegation, accompanying staff, and students expressed their sincere appreciation to the Faculty Deanship and its academic and administrative staff for their warm reception and excellent organization.
