On the evening of Wednesday, June 5, 2024, Prof. Dr. Khaled Saleh Bawazir,
\nDirector of the Centre for Environmental Studies and Water Resources at Hadhramout
\nUniversity, met with a delegation from the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO),
\nheaded by Engineer Waleed Al-Darwish. The meeting took place at the Academic
\nDevelopment Centre Hall at the university.
\nDuring the meeting, both parties discussed several projects funded by the FAO and
\nimplemented by Hadhramout University in environmental and water resources. These
\nprojects are part of the fruitful framework of cooperation between the university and
\nthe international organization.
\nAlso in attendance was Engineer Mohammed Bin Thabet, underscoring the
\nimportance Hadhramout University places on strengthening its partnerships with
\ninternational organisations concerned with environmental and water-related issues.
\nThrough the Centre for Environmental Studies and Water Resources, the university
\naims to contribute to addressing the environmental and water challenges facing the
\nregion.<\/p>\n
Overall, the visit took place within the context of deepening cooperation between
\nHadhramout University and the FAO, and exploring ways to enhance joint
