On Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Ibn Sina Model Secondary School welcomed a delegation from the Center for Environmental Studies and Water Resources at Hadhramout University. The delegation was received by the school\u2019s principal, Mr. Ahmed Saeed Abdulrazaq, Mr. Salah Babasit, and several faculty members.<\/p>\n

Dr. Salah Abdullah Bin Fareejan, a representative of the Center, delivered an educational lecture entitled ”How to Reduce Plastic Use”.
\nIn his presentation, Dr. Bin Fareejan addressed several key topics, including the hazards of plastic, its chemical composition, types,<\/p>\n

The school principal, Mr. Abdulrazzaq, opened the lecture, welcomed all attendees, and emphasized the importance of the Center\u2019s visit to the school. He encouraged students to listen attentively, benefit from the session, and actively participate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the opening, Prof. Khaled Saleh Bawazir, Director of the Center for Environmental Studies and Water Resources at Hadhramout University, spoke about the goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

This lecture is part of the ongoing awareness campaign on the dangers of plastic, funded by the Silah Foundation for Development and implemented by the Center for Environmental Studies and Water Resources at Hadhramout University.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the session, Prof. Bawazir thanked Mr. Abdulrazzaq for the warm hospitality and kind reception.<\/span><\/p>\n
