On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Al-Amal Center for Peace and Development, affiliated with Al-Amal Women\u2019s and Socio Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with the Center for Human and Social Studies at Hadhramout University, organized an awareness session titled \u201cPeaceful Coexistence Among Community Groups\u201d under the slogan \u201cA Step Toward Bridging Differences.\u201d<\/p>\n

The session was held at the Girls’ College and targeted first-year students majoring in Early Childhood Education, with 35 students in attendance. The event began with an opening speech by the Dean of the Girls\u2019 College, Dr. Najat Bosabba, who emphasized the importance of coexistence and mutual respect within society.<\/p>\n

Dr. Abha Abdullah Ba\u2019awidhan led the awareness session, which aimed to promote the values of equality and justice among all community members regardless of race, color, or origin, and to foster a culture of respect and peaceful coexistence to help build a cohesive society free from hatred and racism.<\/p>\n

Key goals of the session included: strengthening the teacher\u2019s role in creating a safe Universal environment, educating individuals about their legal rights against discrimination, eliminating stereotypes and prejudices, and encouraging community participation in initiatives promoting tolerance and anti-racism.<\/p>\n
