The BioZone Center for Research, Studies, and Environmental Protection\u2014affiliated with the Al-Amal Cultural and Social Women\u2019s Foundation\u2014and in collaboration with the Center for Human and Social Studies at Hadhramout University, concluded its series of scientific seminars for master\u2019s students on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.<\/p>\n
The seminars were led by Dr. Amani Abdulrazaq Baghreib, Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at Hadhramout University. On Monday, November 25, she delivered a seminar focused on documentation and citation, highlighting their importance in academic research. She also introduced the APA2000 citation style, published by the American Psychological Association.<\/p>\n
The final seminar, held on Tuesday, November 26, addressed the challenges facing scientific research and strategies for overcoming them. Dr. Baghreib discussed the significance of scientific research and the various internal and external obstacles that researchers may encounter. The session concluded with an open discussion exploring practical solutions to these challenges.<\/p>\n
Dr. Huda Joban, Director of the BioZone Center, emphasized the importance of such training sessions in enhancing students\u2019 research skills and enabling them to conduct rigorous and reliable academic work. She affirmed that programs like these play a vital role in developing students\u2019 academic capabilities, improving the quality of research, and preparing them to confront scientific challenges more effectively.<\/p>\n
