It focuses on the following natural and applied studies:<br />a- Basic sciences.<br />b- Medical and biological sciences.<br />c- Engineering and technological sciences.<br />d- Environmental and agricultural sciences.</p> Hadhramout University en-US Hadhramout University Journal of Natural & Applied Sciences Artificial Neural Network Modeling Applied for Predicting Reformate Yield and Research Octane Number in the Reforming Process https://hu.edu.ye/hu-publications/journals/index.php/hujnas/article/view/577 <p>The prediction model of the continuous catalytic regeneration reforming process was developed for <br>expecting the reformate yield and research octane number using an Artificial Neural Network technique (ANN) to <br>improve the process performance. The proposed model includes temperatures, pressures, and hydrogen to <br>hydrocarbon molar ratio as input parameters while the output of the process represents reformate yield and research <br>octane number. The ANN model was carried out to estimate the process behavior based on the LevenbergMarquardt Algorithm, which included the nine input parameters, two hidden layers (10-5 neurons), and two <br>parameters as network outputs. The results obtained were that the prediction error for the reformate test was 0.0027 <br>with a regression of 0.9995, while the research octane number was 0.0026 with a regression of 0.9979. The <br>proposed model showed the ability of Artificial Intelligence to predict either the yield &amp; octane number or simulate <br>the behavior of the process with more accurate.</p> Badiea S. It is considered as the <br>appropriate feeding method to provide necessary nutrition for the newborn. The study aimed to increase mothers' <br>knowledge about breastfeeding. Methods: The quasi-experimental research design was utilized in this study. The<br>study revealed that there is an effect of the education program on mothers' knowledge toward breastfeeding. The <br>total score of mothers' knowledge about breastfeeding showed that; 8.1% of mothers had good knowledge in pretest <br>and their knowledge improved after being implemented to be 76.3% in posttest, and 56.3% in follow up test. The <br>presented study findings highlighted the effect of education programs on mothers' knowledge of breastfeeding.<br>Also, this study discovered that there is a relationship between the characteristic and mothers' knowledge. It was <br>observed after the education programme was implemented. Recommendation: Yemenis' mothers need to continue <br>education program about breastfeeding, in particular the mothers who lives in rural areas.</p> Haddad Salim Al-Hebshi Noman Ahmed Alhatemi Laith Mahmoud Alosoufe Muhannad Abdulkawi Al-Fakih Copyright (c) 2024 Hadhramout University Journal of Natural & Applied Sciences 2024-03-05 2024-03-05 20 2 تأثير فترات الري وسماد البوتاسيوم في إنتاج محصول الذرة الرفيعة في محافظة مأرب https://hu.edu.ye/hu-publications/journals/index.php/hujnas/article/view/600 <p>نفذت التجربة في مزرعة البحوث الزراعية في محافظة مارب خلال الموسمين 2021 – 2022م بهدف دراسة تأثير أربع فترات ري&nbsp; (5 ، 7 ، 10 ، 15 يوماً) وأربعة مستويات سماد كبريتات البوتاسيوم0 (%50 K2O) صفر و50 و 100 و 150كجم/هكتار) باستخدام تصميم القطاعات كاملة العشوائية على نسبة الأوراق /السيقان و عدد الأفرع / م2 وحاصل العلف الأخضر(طن/هكتار) لمحصول الذرة الرفيعة<em>Sorghum bicolor L</em><em>.</em> &nbsp;وأظهرت نتائج البحث تفوق فترات الري عند (7 أيام) في جميع الصفات المدروسة. وبينت النتائج&nbsp; زيادة في حاصل العلف الأخضر عند فترات الري (10 أيام) وسجلت فترات الري (15يوماً) أقل قيمة واوضحت النتائج فروقاً معنوية بين معاملات التسميد البوتاسي حيث أعطت معاملة التسميد (100 كجم/هكتار) أعلى قيمة في نسبة الأوراق /السيقان &nbsp;وعدد الأفرع ، وحاصل العلف الأخضر واظهرت النتائج فروقاً معنوية نتيجة التداخل بين السماد البوتاسي وفترات الري&nbsp; فقد تبين&nbsp; أن فترات الري عند (7 أيام) مع معاملة التسميد (100 كجم/هكتار) كافية لحدوث زيادة في نسبة الأوراق/السيقان وحاصل العلف الأخضر فيما اعطت فترات الري &nbsp;(7أيام) مع معاملة التسميد (150 كجم/هكتار) زيادة معنوية في عدد الأفرع ..</p> فضل ناصر سعيد مسعود وعبدالرحمن محمد نور حامد وعبده بكري أحمد فقيرة Copyright (c) 2024 2024-09-12 2024-09-12 20 2
