The Hadhramout University Journals System (HU Journals System) is a collection of peer-reviewed, open-access journals that publish original research articles, case reports, and brief communications in a variety of disciplines, including natural and applied sciences, humanities, and medical sciences. The HU Journals System is committed to providing a platform for researchers to share their work with the global community and to advance knowledge in their respective fields.
The HU Journals System was established in 2020 by the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at Hadhramout University. The system currently consists of three journals:
- Hadhramout University Journal of Natural & Applied Sciences
- Hadhramout University Journal of Humanities
- Hadhramout Journal of Medical Sciences
- Hadhramout Journal of College of Art
All three journals are published biannually and are available online for free download. The HU Journals System is committed to open access publishing, which means that all articles published in the system are freely accessible to anyone, anywhere in the world.

HADHRAMOUT JOURNAL OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Hadhramout Journal of Medical Sciences (HJMS) is a periodic peer-reviewed journal published biannually by the College of Medicine, Hadhramout University. The editorial team of HJMS welcomes original research articles, case reports, and brief communications in English language, on current developments in medical practice and research, and in all fields of medical sciences. Review articles are usually by invitation only, however review articles of high standard will be considered.

Hadhramout University Journal of Natural & Applied Sciences
Hadhramout University Journal of Natural and Applied Sciences is a scientific refereed journal published each six months by the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at Hadhramout University. It aims at providing an opportunity for all researchers to publish their scientific studies. It focuses on the following natural and applied studies:
a- Basic sciences.
b- Medical and biological sciences.
c- Engineering and technological sciences.
d- Environmental and agricultural sciences. -
Hadhramout University Journal of Humanities
Hadhramout University Journal of Humanities is a scientific refereed biannual journal published by the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at Hadhramout University. It aims at providing an opportunity for all researchers to publish their scientific studies. It focuses on the following fields: linguistics, literature, translation, philosophy, sociology, law, Islamic studies, media, history, archeology, anthropology, geography, administration, economy, commerce, accounting, education, psychology, heritage, music, fine arts, and library science.

Hadhramout Undergraduate Research Journal
The Hadhramout Undergraduate Research Journal is an annual, peer-reviewed, student-led international research journal issued by the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at Hadhramout University. It is the first of its kind dedicated to publishing undergraduate research in both Arabic and English and operates according to an ethical charter for publication (see Publishing Ethics and Policies).
The Hadhramout Undergraduate Research Journal represents an unprecedented academic achievement in the Arab world and the region, as it is the first scientific academic journal entirely managed by students. This unique model places students in academic leadership positions, giving them a distinctive opportunity to contribute to advancing scientific research and overseeing all stages of academic work, from receiving and reviewing submissions to editing and publishing.
