At Ali.A.Bakatheer hall, HU launched the final qualifiers for the HU awards for students creativity in ( Qur’an memorization and Hadith memorization) under the slogan ” Hadhramout University for Student Creativity, a refinement of talents, and a way for creativity”, in the presence of Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair, vice president for academic affairs, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al Obthani, vice president for students affairs, and\u00a0 Prof. Salem Mohammed Bin Selman, Assistant vice president for students affairs.<\/p>\n

In the opening session, which begun with verses of Holy Qur’an, Dr. Zain Mohammed Al Aidros, chairman of the judging panel, indicated that such companions come to encourage \u00a0students to memorize the Holy Qur’an and Hadith. Also, he thanked the university presidency for keeping to encourage student to compete for top three awards.<\/p>\n

Then, The finalists started which there were (four students) in memorizing all the holy Qur’an, (two students) in 20 part and (three students) in 15 part by presenting examples of Koranic conversions before the judging panel, to be evaluated and the winners cleared for the competition’s three positions. The judging panel was composed of:<\/p>\n

Dr. Fayez Mohammed Al-Somahi, Chairman<\/p>\n

Eng. Abdullah Rajab Ba-Siddiq is a member<\/p>\n

Eng. Yasser Hadi Bakir is a member.<\/p>\n

And in the Hadith memorization award there were 3 students in (100) hadith, one student in (75) hadith and 2 students in\u00a0 (50) hadith . The judging panel are :<\/p>\n

Dr. Ahmed Saqqaf Al-Aidarous, member<\/p>\n

Dr . Ameen Salem Basliman as a member<\/p>\n

Dr. Salem Aboud Ghanem, Chairman of the HU Awards Committee for Student Creativity, noted that these student competitions contribute to the refinement of students’ talents and the development of their creative abilities in multiple fields where all students from the various faculties of Hadhramaut University compete.<\/p>\n
