Faculty Overview<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>_<\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text el_id=”about-univ”]The Faculty of Law at Hadhramout University was established by the University Council Decision No. (25) in its session held on 1 February 2012, and the University President’s decision No.(368) of the academic year 2012 regarding the establishment of the Faculty issued on 16th September of that year, 30 Shawwal 1433H. The Faculty of Law was one of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences departments, which was the department that formed the foundation of the new Faculty and then attached to it according to the establishment decision.
\nFaculty of Law is the fifteenth faculty in Hadhramout University and it determines its vision, mission and objectives and seeks to achieve them according to the available possibilities. The faculty also seeks to achieve its objectives in serving the community through the participation of the teaching staff with the scientific research, conferences, scientific seminars and workshops. In addition, the faculty contributes to implementing several of the activities of the civil institutions.
\nThe Faculty signed a partnership agreement with the Hadhramout Foundation for Legal Support and Training . This agreement aims to implement the programs, study plans practically, and establish the joint activities. The Faculty affirms its readiness to establish partnerships with relevant civil institutions and committees[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″]

Objectives<\/h3>

  • To lead in the knowledge of Islamic legal rulings related to the regulation of relationships among individuals and between individuals and society.<\/li>\n
  • To prepare a generation of academically qualified legal professionals, equipped to keep pace with current developments across various fields.<\/li>\n
  • To supply state institutions\u2014particularly the judiciary, security and oversight bodies, the legal profession, and the field of arbitration\u2014with university-qualified individuals possessing strong legal competencies.<\/li>\n
  • To build a network of relationships with peer colleges locally and internationally, as well as with professional institutions (courts, prosecution offices, police departments, etc.), in order to provide academic and practical benefits to students.<\/li>\n
  • To connect the College with society through workshops, seminars, and discussion panels that address important issues and explore their legal and societal implications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
