Dean’s Message<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>_<\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″ css=”.vc_custom_1635529611408{padding-top: 30px !important;padding-right: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n First of all, we would like to congratulate all members of our promising faculty on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the College. At the beginning of September 1997, the Faculty received the first batch of students. So far, 14 batches of students have been graduated from the Medicine Program. The first batch of Medical Laboratory Program is graduating this year (Oct.2017), while the first batch of Pharmacy (Pharm D) will graduate next year.<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″ css=”.vc_custom_1635529549489{padding-left: 0px !important;}”] Since the establishment of the Faculty , the Faculty Deanship and all its members have been keen on taking care of all aspects of the educational process, developing courses and learning resources, providing an appropriate learning environment for students, and adopting the quality principle of teaching and learning at an early stage. Furthermore, they have raised the slogan “Together towards Academic Accreditation”. They have finished the self-assessment study since 2013, and have presented all the related documents to the Academic Accreditation Council and Quality Assurance. However, they have not completed the procedures for obtaining academic accreditation because of the political circumstances that the country has been through and still suffers from. Even though we have proved that the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is the first college in the Republic of Yemen that has applied for academic accreditation.
