{"id":348,"date":"2026-04-29T10:10:55","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T07:10:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/medfac\/en\/?p=348"},"modified":"2026-06-04T10:12:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T07:12:07","slug":"faculty-of-medicine-and-health-sciences-at-hadhramout-university-receives-a-unicef-delegation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hu.edu.ye\/medfac\/en\/details\/348\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Hadhramout University Receives a UNICEF Delegation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Hadhramout University<\/strong> received a delegation from UNICEF on the morning of <strong>Wednesday, 28 April<\/strong>, as part of a visit aimed at discussing areas of cooperation and potential interventions to support the organization\u2019s objectives and enhance the faculty\u2019s academic and community programs.<\/p>\n<p>The delegation included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dr. Josephine<\/strong>, Nutrition Specialist at UNICEF Yemen<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Salem Muftah<\/strong>, Nutrition Specialist at UNICEF<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The delegation was received by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr. Saleh Awadh Bahoul<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr. Khaled Mubarak Bin Madi<\/strong>, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr. Maryam Hammam<\/strong>, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Adnan Abdullah Bakarman<\/strong>, Vice Dean for Student Affairs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Hassan<\/strong>, Vice Dean for Quality, Development, and Community Service<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr. Abdullah Bin Ghouth<\/strong>, Head of the Department of Community Medicine and Executive Director of the National Institute of Public Health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the meeting, discussions focused on areas of cooperation, particularly in <strong>nutrition, capacity building, and support for educational and training processes<\/strong>, in ways that contribute to improving the faculty\u2019s outputs and serving the local community.
