The Faculty of Nursing at Hadhramout University<\/span><\/strong> organized, in coordination with the Student Council and in partnership with the Al\u2011Amal Cultural and Social Women\u2019s Foundation<\/span><\/strong>, an Open Day event and a ceremony honoring outstanding students, supporting entities, and partner healthcare institutions<\/span><\/strong> in Al\u2011Mukalla, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash<\/span><\/strong>, President of the University.<\/span><\/p>\n

In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saeed Al\u2011Hanashi<\/span><\/strong>, stated that this event was organized in cooperation with the Student Council and partner institutions, emphasizing that the faculty has sponsored various student activities aimed at encouraging continued success. He highlighted the faculty\u2019s commitment to developing students\u2019 skills across different fields to build their personalities and enhance leadership abilities, praising the role of the Student Council and expressing hope for continued excellence. He also extended his thanks to all contributors to these activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

He further noted that this year\u2019s celebration includes honoring key supporting organizations such as the Silah Foundation for Development<\/span><\/strong> and the Charitable Fund for Outstanding Students<\/span><\/strong>, which contributed to supporting and implementing the Critical Care Master\u2019s Program<\/span><\/strong>, as well as the Al\u2011Amal Cultural and Social Women\u2019s Foundation<\/span><\/strong> for sponsoring the event. He also acknowledged the role of several partners in organizing scientific, cultural, and sports activities, including the Visiting Doctor Foundation<\/span><\/strong> and the Executive Body of the Southern Transitional Council.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, he praised the supporting healthcare institutions that contribute to the faculty\u2019s training programs, including the Office of the Ministry of Public Health<\/span><\/strong>, Ibn Sina Hospital Authority<\/span><\/strong>, the Hadhramout Health Institutes Administration<\/span><\/strong>, the University Hospital for Women and Children<\/span><\/strong>, the Family Medicine Center<\/span><\/strong>, Hadhramout Modern Hospital<\/span><\/strong>, Al\u2011Burj Consultant Hospital<\/span><\/strong>, Nabd Al\u2011Hayat Center<\/span><\/strong>, and Family Medicine Centers in Fuwah and Baaboud<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

For his part, Mr. Yahya Irfan Bin Hameed<\/span><\/strong>, President of the Student Council, stated that the event comes within the faculty\u2019s plan to honor outstanding students and partner institutions that contribute to showcasing students\u2019 talents and capabilities. He expressed gratitude to the University Presidency and the Faculty Deanship for their continued support of student activities. The Student Council also presented Shields of Loyalty<\/span><\/strong> to the Dean and his Deputy in appreciation of their support.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event also included a video presentation highlighting student activities and competitions, which was well-received by attendees.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saeed Al\u2011Hanashi<\/span><\/strong>, along with Dr. Yahya Al\u2011Moallim<\/span><\/strong> (Vice Dean), Mr. Fayaz Faraj Baamer<\/span><\/strong> (Secretary\u2011General of the Faculty), Dr. Haddad Al\u2011Habshi<\/span><\/strong>, and Student Council President Mr. Yahya Irfan Bin Hameed<\/span><\/strong>, honored the supporting entities and healthcare institutions by presenting commemorative shields. Outstanding students and competition winners were also honored with shields and certificates.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the ceremony, the Dean, his Deputy, the Secretary\u2011General, and the Head of Department toured the accompanying exhibition, which included various sections such as \u201cAthar Al\u2011Jani,\u201d a historical display of the Faculty of Nursing<\/span><\/strong>, reading and books corner, art section, productive families corner, entertainment, cinema, health awareness, children\u2019s activities, and other sections that received strong admiration from attendees.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event was attended by Dr. Mohammed Awadh Luradi<\/span><\/strong>, Director of Health Institutes in Hadhramout; Dr. Abdulrahman Al\u2011Suwaini<\/span><\/strong>, Chairman of the Visiting Doctor Foundation; Mr. Abdulrahman Bashuaib<\/span><\/strong>, Deputy Director of the Family Medicine Center; several faculty members and assistants; nursing students; and representatives of supporting organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n
