Overview Of Fine Art <\/span><\/h2>\n

Art education in any society is considered as a part of the general education of the society, and defining the concept of art education is a necessity for everyone involved in preparing future generations to assume their responsibilities in the future. The main objective of the art education is to shape human behavior through art. We must realize that the development of artistic taste in individuals has repercussions on their lives and their interaction with the components of the natural and industrial environment. Therefore, the thought of establishing the Department of Art Education at the Women’s College was one of the ambitious ideas that Hadhramout University implemented to prepare a generation of qualified teachers with scientific, cognitive and skill qualifications to carry the banner of renewal.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Department of Art Education was established in the academic year 2008\/2009 in order to cover the shortage of art education teachers in the elementary and secondary educational stages, and to be in harmony with the increasing educational growth in Yemen. The department’s courses mostly use modern technical and scientific methods to build students’ personalities and promote Arab and Islamic values. The department also seeks to contribute in community service at the educational and technical levels, by preparing and rehabilitating cadres to perform these tasks, and contribute effectively to enriching the cultural movement inside and outside the university by holding exhibitions for students and staff members.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  3. To prepare specialists in the implementation and presentation of art education programs in the media.<\/li>\n
  4. To conduct scientific and field research studies in the fields of arts and education.<\/li>\n
  5. To contribute in training and qualifying workers in the fields of art education according to their different levels.<\/li>\n
  6. To provide technical advice for various institutions in the fields of art and artistic culture.<\/li>\n
