Significance of Utilizing Integrated Technology in Learning EFL among Students in the Faculty of Education, Thamar University

الملخص

The present study aimed to scrutinise the significance of integrating technology in the context of 
learning English as a foreign language (EFL) among the learners of English Language Department, 
Faculty of Education, Thamar University, Yemen. A sample of 100 EFL learners from the above
mentioned university participated in the study. The data was collected through a questionnaire, and the 
findings were analysed using quantitative methods. The results revealed a generally positive perception 
of technology integration among participants, with high levels of agreement and satisfaction. 
Participants recognized technology as a valuable tool that enhanced their productivity, academic 
performance, and language learning experiences. However, some participants expressed concerns and 
challenges related to technology integration, emphasizing the need for ongoing support and training. 
Based on the findings, some recommendations were provided for students, instructors, and future 
researchers showing the effectiveness of technology use in the English language learning context. This 
study could contribute to the existing literature on technology integration in language education and 
provide insights for policymakers, educators, and institutions to promote the best use of technology in 
learning EFL.
