The viva- Voce Examination on the doctoral dissertation was held On Thursday morning, 11/3/2021 at the Higher Studies Hall of the Education College in Mukalla, Hadhramout University by the researcher Shatha Saleh Khamees Jaber entitled (Evaluating the Academic Program of the English Language Department at Women’s College, Hadhramout University in the light of National Academy quality and accreditation standards).
The content of the Bachelor program description of the English department at Women’s college has most of the academic program form analysis standards with a percentage of (81.6%). In addition, the content of the course description has half of academic program course form analysis standards at a rate of (50.4%) and these standards are available according to the staff members view at an average rate of (76.3%), and according to the students they are available at an average rate of (76.3%) (68%), as well as from the female graduates, it is available to a moderate degree with a percentage of (70.1%), while from the administrators, it is available to a large degree with a percentage of (97.7%). The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between the estimates of the staff members, students, graduates, and administrators, and that the source of differences between the averages of staff members and students was in the interest of staff members, as its average was higher by (2.2833). And that the source of the differences between the averages of staff members and administrators was in the interest of the administrators, as its average was higher by (2.9318), and that the source of the differences between the averages of female students and administrators was in the interest of the administrators, as its average was higher by (2.9318).The source of the differences between the averages of female graduates and administrators was Also in the interest of female administrators, as its average was higher by (2.9318).
In light of the results, the researcher recommended spreading a culture of quality among staff members in general and students in particular, and informing all participants in the educational process, including staff members, students, graduates, and administrators, of the specifications of the academic program and courses, so that the student is aware of the learning outcomes required from him to achieve each course. The researcher also suggested conducting various evaluation studies for the rest of the academic programs at the Hadhramout University in light of national quality and academic accreditation standards, and conducting evaluation studies for the colleges and financial facilities, and the extent of their commitment to national quality standards and academic accreditation.

The committee approved the dissertation, and awarded the researcher a doctorate in Philosophy of Education. The examination was attended by Dr. Saeed Salmeen Belafair; Dean of the Education College, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Razzaq Al Hindi; Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at the college, Dr. Abdullah Mohammed bin Tha’lab; Head of the Educational Sciences Department, a number of staff members, their assistants, a number of graduate students, and researcher’s relatives.
