In patronage of Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbesh, HU President, supervision of the Office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population in Hadhramout coast and financing of the Arab Yemeni Cement Com. Ltd., in conjunction with the arrival of the newest 3D oral and dental CBCT, HU Family Medicine Centre was organized Free training course for doctors and dentists to learn about the uses of the device and how to read radiology, with the participation of 70 doctors.
At the opening session, Prof. Abdallah Saleh Bhabair, Vice-prisedent for Academic Affairs, confirmed that the University’s Family Medicine Centre provides excellence quality services to society, noting that HU pays close attention to the health aspect represented by the University Hospital and Family Medicine Centre , as it provides direct services to the community.
Dr. Fazeh Ahmed Al-Amoudi, Deputy General Director of Public Health and Population Office Ministry , Hadhramout coast, noted that this course is a new addition for dentists, as it contributes to the diagnosis of rare diseases.
For his part, Prof. Abdurrahman Basheb, Deputy General Director of Family Medicine Centre, expressed thanks and appreciation for the leadership of the Arab-Yemeni Cement Com. Ltd., represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sheikh Abdullah Ahmed Bugshan, and Eng. Waheeb Al-Azab, General Director of the Company; For their unlimited support to the Center, as well as their funding of the CBCT at an estimated financial cost of $60,000.
