A workshop was held at the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center on developing the guide of writing theses. It was organized by the deputyship of the postgraduate studies and scientific research under the patronage of prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash; HU president and under the slogan ” Towards the Scientific Pioneering in Writing theses”.
In the opening session of the workshop, Prof. Hadi Salem Al sabban; Acting vice president for postgraduate studies and scientific research pointed out that this workshop aimed to develop and enrich the guide of writing theses as well as link the university theses with the scientific development in the scientific research. Moreover, He called on the participants to come up with the recommendations, outcomes and decisions in order to develop this guide.
In addition, the workshop discussed a number of main points about the preparation of the proposals , quotation, documentation, typing rules, binding the theses and dissertations, and other topics related to the development of the guide for writing university theses.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Yasser Aljahwari; Assistant vice president for postgraduate studies and scientific research, Dr. Salem Faraj Bamasoud; General Director for scientific research, Dr. Mohammed Muqbel; Director of the Human and applied sciences center, number of deans’ college and their deputies. In addition to the scientific research heads, number of staff members and Mr. Ahmed Zain Bahmaid; General director of university media department.
