The Faculty of Law, in cooperation with the National Committee for Women, was organized under the sponsorship of Major General / Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, Governor of Hadhramout Governorate, Commander of the Second Military Region, and Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash, President of the University. Made by the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption, to limit and combat this phenomenon in various sectors and institutions, thanking the Faculty of Law and the National Committee for Women for organizing such awareness-raising events for students and youth, and informing them of the responsibility that will fall on them after graduating from the faculty, as they will be lawyers and judges in the future. Dr. Yasser Ahmed Al-Qahoum, Dean of the Faculty of Law, stressed the need to benefit from this scientific activity .Ms. Faiza Bamtrif, Chair of the National Committee for Women in Hadhramout Governorate, expressed her happiness and thanks to the Deanship of the Faculty of Law for hosting the scientific symposium, noting that this event comes within the memorandum of understanding signed by the committee National Women with the University of Hadhramout.
After that, Judge / Afrah Badwylan – Head of the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption – reviewed some axes to introduce students to the importance of combating corruption, as it is a national and moral duty, hoping that Hadhramout Governorate would be a model in combating corruption in all its forms and methods,
At the end of the event, the Deanship of the Faculty of Law made a generous gesture to honor working and outstanding women in the faculty’s academic, administrative and service work, and they are Dr. Faiza Ahmed Abidi, Vice Dean of the Faculty and Instructor Afrah Ahmed Mall Al-Duwailah, Sister Mona Haj Basaad, Director of the Admission and Registration Department, and Sister Arwa Ahmed Balsoud and Zakia Hajj Khaba from the Faculty’s Administrative Affairs Department.
The event was attended by: Dr. Faizah Ahmed Abidi, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Professor / Abdel Rahman Bamzahem, Head of the Law Department at the Faculty of Open Education, and Brother / Essam Da’ik, Secretary General of the Future Facultys Complex in Fuh, and Brother / Omar Abdel Rahman Basaad, Director of Student Activities Department in the Complex, and lawyer Ayman Bamtrif, Executive Director of the Foundation Hadhramout for Legal Development and a large number of students of the Faculty of Law of all levels of study at the University of Hadhramout.
