Administrative Sciences College Organizes a Workshop Entitled (A Guide to Preparing Scientific Theses in Business Administration Department)

A workshop was held in the Administrative Sciences college Hall, entitled (A Guide to preparing scientific theses in Business Administration Department). It was organized by the Business Administration Department, under the generous patronage of Dr. Mohammed Belhawisel, Dean of Administrative Sciences college at the university. The workshop aimed to provide an explanation and clarification of the postgraduate instructions of the department, discuss the mechanism of writing the thesis methodology, how to benefit from previous studies and identify the research gap.

In addition, it introduced the precepts and procedures of writing and documenting the thesis, as well as familiarized the students with the concepts of developing scientific research skills; through references and sources in libraries and electronic databases and how to organize the write of a research draft.

From her part, Dr. Libya Bahwareth, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, expressed her happiness for holding this scientific workshop, which paves the way for postgraduate students to write their scientific theses with high quality, expressing her thanks and appreciation to the department’s management for the permanent excellence organization of such scientific workshops for students.

Dr. Salah Belkhair, Head of the Business Administration Department, indicated that this workshop was established by the help of the concerted efforts of all department members, and their awareness of the importance of holding this workshop before the postgraduate students started writing their theses. Five scientific papers were discussed in the workshop, the first entitled “General procedures and precepts of writing scientific theses” presented by Dr. Salah Belkhair, the second entitled “Previous studies and methodological linkage” presented by Dr. Khalid Al-Jabri, and the third entitled “Classification and Documentation of Scientific Theses” presented by Dr. Mohsen Bin Kulaib. The fourth was entitled “Searching for References in Libraries and Electronic Databases” presented by Dr. Hani Belafair, and the fifth was entitled “Organizing and Writing the Research Draft” presented by Dr. Khalid Al-Kaldi. The workshop was attended by: Dr. Mahfoudh Al-Musali; Vice Dean of the College for Student Affairs, Dr. Fayez Bamzahem,  Mr.Ali Ahmed Emara; General Secretary of the College, and postgraduate and undergraduate students of the department
