The viva-voce examination on the dissertation, by the researcher Nawal Mahfoudh Bani in the Psychological and Educational Science Department at the Education Faculty, was held in Mukalla. It is titled ”The Effectiveness of a Proposed Training Program in Developing 21st-century Skills among Female Students at Hadhramout University”.
The examination committee is:
-Prof. Ahmed Muhammad Alsaqaf; Chairperson, Supervisor- Hadhramout Unversity
-Prof. Saleh Karamah Gamzawi; Internal Examiner- Hadhramout University.
-Prof. Sina Qasim Al-Mansouri; External Examiner- University of Aden.
The examination committee praised the researcher for discussing a new topic related to the future skills of university students and their integration into the labor market in the face of 21st-century challenges. In her training program, the researcher addressed eight skills that represent the skills of innovation and renewal, the skill of critical thinking and problem solving, the skill of effective communication, the skills of continuous self-learning and flexibility skills, the ability to adapt, teamwork skills, and the skills of understanding multiple cultures. The researcher concluded that the effectiveness of the proposed training program in developing the skills of the 21st century.
The examination committee praised her efforts in collecting the data and stated several recommendations, encouraging her to continue her research. They also approved awarding the researcher the Ph.D. degree in the psychological and educational science department, curricula, and teaching methods.
It is worth mentioning that the researcher is one of the staff members at Hadhramout University. She holds an M.A. degree in Kindergarten with honors and has many researches published in scientific journals.
