Engineering and Petroleum Faculty Organizes A Training Course in Electronic Welding

Engineering and Petroleum Faculty held a training course in Electronic Welding organized by the Electronic Engineering Association on Thursday, November 23, 2023. The course is about electronic welding for second-level students in electronic engineering and communications, presented by Engineer Adel Faraj Al-Shamali.

During the course, students got acquainted with the parts and components of a soldering iron, the devices, and equipment of electronic welding, how to remove and install electronic parts, how to remove and install surface mount electronic parts, and the electrical safety.

From his part, student Kazem Al-Saqaf, the head of the Electronic Engineering Association, stated that the association has a package of training courses for electronic engineering and communications students during this year, 2023-2024. Several courses have been implemented in the past few days. He urged his fellow students to make the most of these quality courses. He also thanked the faculty Dean, represented by Dr. Hisham Al-Baiti, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, and Dr. Khaled bin Ishaq, Head of the Electronic Engineering and Communications Department, for overcoming the difficulties and cooperating in the implementation of these courses for the benefit of the students and the educational process at the faculty. He also expressed gratitude to the program implementers, Mr. Alaa Basawaki and Engineer Adel Al-Shamali

It is worth mentioning that the electronic welding course has been implemented during the past two weeks for the third level.
