The Second-level Students of the Architectural Engineering Department on a Field Trip to Hayd Al-Jazeel Resort –Dawan.

On Tuesday 2024/2/13, students of the second level of architecture made a field visit to the resort of Hayd Al-Jazeel. Accompanied by Prof. Dr. Anwar Ahmed Ba-issa, former Head of the Architecture Department, Faculty Member of the Department, Engineer Mohammed bin Jabbour, and Engineer Obeid Baziad, Associate Faculty Members of the Department.
This visit comes under a material (architectural design 2).

Students learned about the resort’s design in its classic heritage style, situated on a mountain slope, overlooking the valley and the village of Hayd Al Jazeel, located on top of the hill, which gave the resort a distinct view.

The resort was built using local materials to adapt to the nature of the mountainous region.
The students were briefed on the details of the interior design of the rooms and how to maintain their traditional character.
At the end visit, the students thanked the management of Hayd Al Jazeel Resort for its hospitality and good and beautiful reception and also thanked the Heads of the Architecture Department, and Deanship of the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum for facilitating the coordination of the visit and overcoming the difficulties.
