The Faculty Graduates of Engineering & Petroleum of HU Participate In The International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC).

Eng. Hamzah al-Sharifi, a Faculty graduate of Engineering & Petroleum and representative of the HU, participated in the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) held at “Dahran Expo” Saudi Arabia from 12 to 14 February.

Eng. Al-Sharifi presented a scientific research entitled:

“Prediction of Two-Phase Flow Regimes in Vertical.

Pipes Using Tree-Based Ensemble Models.”

This conference began with remarkable and enjoyable activities, in which valuable scientific research was presented in many different fields of the oil industry through the art and technical exhibitions of many leading companies in different fields of the oil industry participating in this outstanding scientific event.

A diverse and influential group of attendees, including oil industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, investors, academia, and entrepreneurs, has also been approached and interacted with.

For his part, Eng. Al-Sharifi expressed his pleasure at attending this conference and honoring him at HU.

He thanked the Hadhramout Foundation for its modest support and facilitation of his participation in this scientific event.

He also thanked the members of the International Conference on Petroleum Technology Committee and all pastoralists and organizing partners for their support, suggestions, review, and corrective guidance and for providing him with the opportunity to be a speaker at this historic event.

Finally, Eng. Al-Sharifi thanked everyone who stood by him and those who played a great role in the accomplishment of this work, the distinguished work team of Prof. Abbas Al-Khudafi, Dr. Salem Baarimah, Dr. Abdelriqeeb al-Gathi, Dr. Wehbi Al-Ameri, and Eng. Amal Al Yazidi.
