Specialized Training in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

The Department of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum, Hadhramout University, continues to provide field training opportunities for its students. The 24th cohort of 2024 has commenced its summer training program, funded by the Hadhramout Foundation for Human Development, and coordinated with the university. The training is being conducted at the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan , in alignment with the department’s Vision 2030 development strategy.

Participating in this training program are students Ali Abu Bakr Bawazeer and Mohammed Saeed Batheir, who will undergo a two-month internship in their field of specialization. The program aims to enhance their practical skills and broaden their professional horizons.

Dr. Badea Babagi, Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, expressed his deep gratitude to the Hadhramout Foundation and its Executive Director, Engineer Tareq Balkhsher, for their continued support. He also thanked Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani, Vice President for Student Affairs, for his effective efforts in making this achievement possible. Dr. Babagi expressed hope that such opportunities would continue and expand to include more graduates from the department.

It is worth noting that this training program is part of the activities of the Arab Council for Student Exchange and Innovation, which aims to develop specialized practical skills and knowledge among graduates.
