Within the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of hadhramout University, the College of Engineering and Petroleum organized the 1st Consultative Meeting (CM) with companies and institutions in the public and private sectors and in the presence of representatives from these companies and institutions.
At the opening session, Mr. Fahmi Awad Badhawi, Assistant Deputy of Hadhramout Governor for Youth Affairs, emphasized that this meeting comes to discuss a number of issues related to young graduates of the College of Engineering and Petroleum in order to absorb them into the labor market; calling on all companies and Institutions in the public and private sectors to benefit from them as they are a real human wealth. He also thanked the Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum for organizing this consultative meeting.
From his part, Dr. Amer Bader Bin Murdhah, Dean of the College, noted that the meeting was aimed at establishing effective and fruitful partnerships between the College and the concerned companies and institutions, and to come up with realistic applicable recommendations that serve the graduates to engage in the labor market. He also thanked the University Presidency, represented by Pro. Mohammed saeed Khanbash, the University Rector, for providing all ways of support for holding the first consultative meeting.
Dr. Mazen Ahmed Moherey, Dean's Deputy for Quality affairs, gave a presentation about the scientific departments of the College since its establishment, the stages of its scientific and academic development, as well as the vision, mission and objectives of the College.
