A Discussion of Cooperation between the Engineering and Petroleum College/HU and Yemen Engineers Syndicate, Hadhramout Branch

Dr. Amer Bader Bin Merdah, Dean of Engineering and Petroleum College/HU met Eng. Omar Mabrouk Makhair, President of Yemen Engineers Syndicate, Hadhramout Branch.

They discussed a number of issues related to Engineering Department, as follows: To train and qualify graduate students in cooperation with the student council, to link up students' graduation projects in practice according to the needs of executive offices and governorate and to take advantage of training and meeting halls for both sides to serve students.

Also, they discussed how to do seminars and workshops in the engineering field for students and define their services provided by the engineers Syndicate and help the students in providing employment opportunities in the engineering filed in various field. In addition to have training cadres in engineering syndicate for doing courses for engineers in the governorate, as well as obtaining membership cards for their adoption as a trainers accredited by the engineers Syndicate in various engineering fields and preparation for the signing of a joint cooperation protocol between Engineering and Petroleum college/HU and the Yemeni Engineers Syndicate, Hadhramout Branch.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Salem Barema, Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department of Engineering and Engineering College

Eng. Heba Mohamed Duman, Secretary of the Engineering Union and Mr. Salem Awad Bin Taleb, the Student Council representative of Engineering and Petroleum college/HU.
