The regular meeting of the Faculty Council for the month of November 2018 was held Monday 12/11/2018 under the chairmanship of Dr. Amer Badr bin Murdah, which included the Dean of the Faculty, heads of scientific departments, representatives of practical groups, and the head of the staff union, at the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum.
The meeting discussed a number of topics on the council’s agenda related to the educational process in the Faculty in terms of academic affairs and promotions for staff members.
The council also discussed the student affairs aspect, which includes requests to halt the student study , in addition to approving the results of the complementary term for the academic year 2017-2018. Moreover, the meeting discussed aspects of developing the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum, which is funded by the Hadhramout Foundation for Human Development.
In the same context, the Council reviewed the list of expenditures for the parallel special education program at Hadhramout University and recommended some amendments to it. The meeting came out with a number of decisions and recommendations, which serve to enhance the educational process at the Faculty and university.
