Under the patronage of the Deanship of the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum, Dr. Fahd Saleh Jawhar; Vice Dean for Student Affairs, inaugurated on the activities of the Open Day for small projects on Tuesday morning, December 18, which was held by the Electronics and Communications Engineering Society at the University of Hadhramout,. It was held in the presence of Dr. Hisham Bakrman; Deputy Dean for Quality Affairs and Community Service, and Dr. Khalid bin Ishaq; The head of the Electronic Engineering and Communications Department, the staff members, their assistants in the department, and the students of the department. The attendees were briefed on the projects submitted by the students that reflect what has been studied during the stages of their studies.
The projects were explained by the students, and the idea of the work and the mechanism of implementation were clarified, and what was the idea and goal of creating these projects, which contained many solutions to the problems faced by individuals, companies and institutions.
For its part, the Deanship of the Faculty praised the efforts made by the students to make these works and events a success that reflected and enriched their creativity and talents in the university education stages.
In the same context, the head of the Department of Electronic and Communications Engineering offered their sincere thanks and praise to the students who sought and made efforts to make this day’s activities a success. They also gave them some advice and directions that would help them in developing projects in the future.
At the conclusion of the open day, the students of the Electronic and Communications Engineering Department thanked the Deanship of the Faculty for its sponsorship of this day, the head of the department, the staff members in the department, and the Society of Electronic Engineering and Communications for their support to improve the practical side of the students to open up bright prospects for them in the upcoming educational process. Urging the association to do more activities and works that raise the students’ abilities in the scientific aspect.
