On Wednesday morning, June 30, 2021, the students of secondary school (scientific department) in the Aynat area in Tarim district made a scientific visit to the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum _ Hadhramaut University, accompanied by Professors Salem Faraj Al-Tamour and Mohammed Salem bin Selm. They were received by Engineers Khalid Ali Ba- haj; Director of the Laboratories Department and Zaher Mubarak Thawban; media supervisor at the faculty.
At the beginning of the visit, Eng. Khalid Ba- haj gave the delegation an overview of the faculty, its departments, the system of admission and study in it, as it is the first faculty established in the university in Flok. It is distinguished by its rare scientific departments at the level of the Republic, such as the petroleum and chemical engineering departments. After that, the students were taken on an introductory tour of the faculty’s buildings, laboratories, and listened to a brief explanation of each laboratory, and got acquainted with the devices, machines and parts, as well as the practical work of the students.
At the end of the visit, the students of Al-Ahqaf secondary School in Aynat – Tarim thanked the Deanship of the Engineering and Petroleum Faculty for providing the opportunity for this visit. They also thanked the engineers, Khalid Bahaj and Zaher Thawban, for accompanying them on this visit, and for the information they provided about the faculty, university study, laboratories.
