On Monday, 10/11/2021, Engineering and Petroleum Faculty held its regular meeting for the month of October, headed by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Amer Badr bin Mirdah, Deputies of the Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Quality Affairs and Community Service, heads of scientific departments, and a representative of the faculty’s assistant professor.
The meeting discussed a number of topics in academic affairs related to the scientific sabbatical leave of some staff members, unpaid leaves, and sick leaves for staff members. In student affairs, the approval of the results of the complementary term was discussed, as well as requests for transferring between specializations for students, in addition to other student issues.
On the side of quality affairs and community service, the meeting discussed the agreement signed between Hadhramout University and Hadhramout Foundation for Human Development regarding the development program for Engineering and Petroleum Faculty to obtain ABET accreditation.
The conclusion of the topics discussed was a variety of educational and administrative aspects, and the approval of the meeting minutes of the September 2021.
