A Workshop was launched on Thursday 1/7/2021 in the Academic Development Center for the rehabilitation of Engineering and Petroleum faculty programs Under the patronage of Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash; HU President to provide readiness reports for ABET. The workshop discussed several topics :
- Self-evaluation of the faculty programs according to the updated requirements of the Academic Accreditation Organization (ABET), as well as in accordance with program progress in the executive plan.
- Building and developing indicators of the outcomes of the Engineering and Petroleum faculty.
- Developing the continuous improvement and development methodology for Engineering and Petroleum faculty programs.
- Training of programs on the Readiness Report to apply for International Accreditation.
The Dean of Engineering and Petroleum faculty Prof. Amer Badr bin Mardhah thanked Dr. Mohammed Saeed, HU president and Sheikh Eng. Abdullah Ahmed Buqshan to support this workshop.
The workshop continued for three days and was aimed at quality programs with scientific departments at Engineering and Petroleum faculty, as well as staff members. The workshop was financed by Hadhramout foundation for Human Development and ESHAM institution.
