Sponsored by the Deanship of the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum, the Student Council and scientific societies held the closing event of student activities on Wednesday, 17/8/2022 at the Faculty Conference Hall, which was marked by a ceremony, a scientific exhibition under the supervision of the invention club, a rights corner, and a qualitative participation of the student training center of Hadhramaut University and AICHe.
the ceremony started by the word of Dr. Hisham Al-Beatty, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, paid tribute to the role of the Student Council and associations in organizing activities within the faculty, promising further support and encouragement for all activities complementing the educational process.
The Student Council’s speech was delivered by Salem bin Talib, the Secretary-General of the Council, in which he reviewed the stages that the Council went through, starting with the leadership of Eng. Dhafer Al-Jabri, and ending with the current President of the Council, Abdul Rahman Al-Farran, praising the efforts of all members of the Council, calling on students to continue interacting with all activities, and concluding his speech with a message Thanks to the Deanship, represented by the Dean of the College, Prof. Salem Saleh Bammen for his support of student activities within the faculty .
In addition, the attendees reviewed Robertagh about Hadramaut University Student Training Center, and offered three qualitative scholarships to the competition-winning students, with input from the Director of the Center. Dr. Adil Basdes, paying special attention to the students of faculty of Engineering and Petroleum.
As well as, the scientific societies was delivered a speech by Eng. Ahmed Belateef, President of the Electronic Engineering Society, in which he expressed the scientific societies’ readiness to provide qualitative activities in the event of the necessary support and attention from faculty Deanship .
After that, Dr. Hisham Al-Bayti, accompanied by the President of the Student Council, Abdul Rahman Al-Farran, visited the rest of the pillars of the event, starting with the legal corner, which aims to familiarize students with the regulations, as well as the scientific exhibition under the supervision of the Invention Club, in addition to the qualitative participation of the chemical engineering chapter AICHe, which won approval everybody.
The corner of Graduates Foundation includes the organization’s introductory publications and its fields. The Executive Director of the Foundation, Mr. Mohammed Banquita, the institution’s desire to work together with faculty Deanship ; To accommodate graduates within the institution’s programs.
The event was attended by Dr. Salem bin Shamla, Head of Civil Engineering Department, and Dr. Hisham Bakrman, faculty member at the faculty and Mr. Mohammed Banaquita, Executive Director of the Graduates Foundation.
