HU Petroleum Engineering Department Obtains the Membership of the International Organization of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)

Dr. Salem Obaid Ba-Armah; Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department at Engineering and Petroleum faculty – Hadhramout University, expressed his sincere congratulations to Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash; President of the University for obtaining  the petroleum engineering department the membership of the International Organization of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).He thanked the efforts made to advance the university forward. The Petroleum Engineering Department had received a letter from the Director of the International Organization of Petroleum Engineers on July 15, 2020, in which he confirmed the department’s acceptance as a member of the organization. He expressed his appreciation for all the letters that were made, which clarified the department’s position and its plans. In his letter, the director of the organization, Mr. Shohan Noman, wished to lead the department and its students further development, expressing the organization’s aspiration to open prospects for joint cooperation between the International Organization of Petroleum Engineers and the Petroleum Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum in Hadhramout University.
